No. Brazilian Zouk is its own dance with its own music. BachaZouk uses Zouk movement over Bachata music and the Bachata basic step.

Do I need Bachata experience?

Yes — Fusion Flow assumes solid basics. Without previous experience, start in the beginner class at 19:00.

Do you offer a pure Zouk class in Saarbrücken?

Not at the moment — we teach Zouk elements inside Fusion Flow. If enough people ask for a dedicated class we will consider it; message us if you would join.

Bachata Fusion & BachaZouk in Saarbrücken

Bachata Fusion means Bachata stays the base while the movement vocabulary comes from another dance. Ours is BachaZouk — Bachata combined with Brazilian Zouk: the music and the basic step stay Bachata, while the movement quality comes from Zouk — flowing body movement, soft turns, waves and cambré. In Saarbrücken we teach this fusion on Mondays in our Fusion Flow class.

How BachaZouk differs from Bachata

Bachata Sensual works with isolations, waves and body contact over the basic step. BachaZouk adds the movement vocabulary of Brazilian Zouk: head movement, elevation, bolero, chest and hip rolls, cambré and souple. The result is softer and more three-dimensional than classic Bachata — and it needs technique to stay safe for both partners.

That is why we do not teach fixed choreographies but technique and connection: safe leading, controlled turns, and movement you can use on any social dance floor the same evening.

Who the class is for

Fusion Flow is aimed at intermediate and advanced dancers. You should be comfortable with the Bachata basic step and have led or followed before. If you are unsure: the Basic Flow beginner class runs right before it at 19:00 — plenty of people dance both hours.

Who teaches

Chirag & Simone are certified BachaZouk instructors (Level 1). We dance and teach at festivals ourselves and bring back what works — not just patterns, but the technique behind them.
