Bachata classes in Saarbrücken
We are Chirag & Simone and we have been teaching Bachata in Saarbrücken since 2025 — Monday evenings at Tanzstudio Fortuna Lounge in Alt-Saarbrücken. Two classes in one evening: one for people who have never danced, one for people who already have the basics. Neither needs you to bring a partner.

Two classes, one evening
Basic Flow starts at 19:00 — the beginner class. We begin with the basic step: posture, timing, leading and following, your first turns and the first sensual body movement. If you have never taken a dance class, this is the right room.
Fusion Flow follows at 20:00 for intermediate and advanced dancers. That hour is about turn technique, body movement, musicality and fusion elements from BachaZouk. It assumes solid Bachata basics — we teach technique and connection rather than fixed choreographies.
No partner, no experience
The question we get most often: “I don't have anyone to come with.” That is not a problem — we rotate partners in class, so you dance with everyone. That is exactly what teaches you to lead or follow rather than adapt to one single person. Couples who prefer to stay together are welcome to.
Prices and dates
One class costs €45 per month, €39 for students. If you dance both hours it is €59 per month (€49 for students). Drop-in is possible: €16 for one class, €28 for a whole evening.
The current season runs for 12 sessions from Monday 21 September to 7 December 2026. Joining in the first few weeks is usually still possible — just message us.
Where we teach
Classes are held at Tanzstudio Fortuna Lounge, Vorstadtstraße 34C, 66117 Saarbrücken — in Alt-Saarbrücken, with parking in the studio courtyard. The room is on the lower floor and opens 30 minutes before class.

- Do I need a dance partner?
- No. We rotate partners in class, so you can come on your own. Couples are welcome to stay together.
- I have never danced. Is that a problem?
- No — Basic Flow at 19:00 is designed for absolute beginners. We start with the basic step and assume nothing.

- Comfortable clothes you can move in, and clean indoor shoes with a smooth sole. Dance shoes are nice but not required.
- What language do you teach in?
- In German. We can explain the key points in English as well — international students are welcome.
